Terms of Use
Last updated: September 27, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you and StartHub Academy Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal office at 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd, Davie, FL 33314 ("StartHub," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of StartHub’s website, platform, courses, live workshops, tools, templates, community, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), including any course, workshop, or program you purchase or access through the Services (each, a "Product").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
The Services are available to users globally, with a primary focus on founders based in the United States. Most of our content is not region-specific; however, content within our Legal & Accounting category is developed primarily with reference to United States law, regulations, and business practices, and may not be accurate, applicable, or complete for founders operating in other jurisdictions. If you are located outside the United States, you are responsible for evaluating whether any content is appropriate for your jurisdiction and for complying with local laws applicable to your use of the Services.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
StartHub provides an online startup-education platform for technology founders, including self-paced courses, live workshops, tools and templates, curated deals and discounts, and access to a founder community. StartHub offers a free tier (“StartHub Explorer”) with limited access to the Services, and a paid tier (“StartHub MBA”) that unlocks full access to Products, as described at the time of purchase.
StartHub may add, modify, or discontinue features, courses, instructors, or other elements of the Services at any time. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to preserve access to Products you have purchased, subject to Section 16 (Termination).
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY
To access certain features of the Services, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly at privacy@Starthub.academy of any unauthorized use of your account.
Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, transferred, or used by more than one individual, except as expressly permitted by StartHub.
4. PURCHASES, PAYMENT, AND INSTALLMENT PLANS
StartHub MBA is offered as a one-time fee for lifetime access (currently anchored at $2,500, with an ongoing launch discount to $1,500 via promotional code LAUNCH40, subject to change at StartHub’s discretion). You may pay in full at checkout, or elect to pay in six (6) equal, interest-free monthly installments (“Installment Plan”). All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. StartHub does not directly store your full payment card information.
By making a purchase, you represent and warrant that: (a) any payment information you provide is true, accurate, and complete; (b) you are authorized to use the payment method provided; (c) charges will be honored by your bank, card issuer, or other payment provider; and (d) you will pay all charges incurred at the posted price, including any applicable taxes. If a payment is declined, reversed, or otherwise dishonored, you remain responsible for the full amount owed, including any reasonable costs or fees StartHub incurs as a result.
Installment Payment Obligation
If you select the Installment Plan, you acknowledge and agree that once the 15-day money-back guarantee period described in Section 5 has expired without a qualifying refund request, the full remaining balance becomes a fixed payment obligation, regardless of how much of the course you have accessed, completed, or used. After that point, no cancellations or partial refunds will be issued on the basis of non-use, and you are contractually obligated to complete all remaining installments in full and on schedule. Failure to make a scheduled installment payment may result in suspension of your access to the Services and/or standard collection procedures.
5. REFUND POLICY / MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE
StartHub offers a 15-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee on StartHub MBA. If you are not satisfied for any reason, contact us at privacy@Starthub.academy within 15 days of gaining access to StartHub MBA, and we will issue a full refund of amounts paid to date.
However, if 15% or more of the course content has been accessed or completed within that 15-day window, the Product will be considered consumed, and the right to a refund under this guarantee will no longer apply.
If you purchased using the Installment Plan and qualify for a refund under this Section, any installments already paid will be refunded and any remaining scheduled installments will be cancelled.
StartHub may, at its discretion, extend the refund period during special promotions. Any such extension will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase and will not be inferred from this Section alone.
6. CONTENT OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content available through the Services — including course videos, curricula, worksheets, templates, tools, written materials, graphics, logos, and the design, structure, and layout of the website and platform (collectively, “Content”) — is owned by StartHub Academy Inc. or its licensors, including contributing instructors who have licensed their materials to StartHub, and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted under Section 7 below, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from any Content without StartHub’s prior written permission.
StartHub, the StartHub name, and associated logos are trademarks of StartHub Academy Inc. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use StartHub’s trademarks without our prior written consent.
7. LICENSE TO USE THE SERVICES
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and, where applicable, full payment for a Product, StartHub grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Content solely for your own personal, non-commercial, internal business use as a founder. This license does not permit you to modify, remove any copyright or proprietary notices from, resell, publicly display, distribute, or use the Content to train, populate, or build a competing product or service.
This license is tied to your individual account and does not extend to your company, co-founders, employees, or any other third party unless a separate team or enterprise license is expressly agreed to in writing by StartHub.
8. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES AND USER CONDUCT
StartHub currently hosts a founder community via Slack, and may in the future transition to a custom-built community platform (together, the “Community”). Your use of the Community is governed by these Terms in addition to any Community-specific guidelines StartHub may publish.
When using the Services, including the Community, you agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of StartHub or any third party;
- Upload, post, or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful or disruptive code;
- Use the Services to promote or distribute spam, scams, or unauthorized solicitations;
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or instructors;
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate any person or entity;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or any related systems.
If you post, share, or upload content within the Community (“User Content”), you retain ownership of that User Content, but you grant StartHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, use, reproduce, and display that User Content solely in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Services. You represent that you have all necessary rights to any User Content you submit.
StartHub may, at its sole discretion, remove User Content, and suspend or terminate access to the Community, for conduct that violates this Section or otherwise harms other users, instructors, or StartHub.
9. LIVE WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS
Live workshops are currently hosted through Vimeo’s event broadcast tools. StartHub does not currently offer in-person events, but may do so in the future; any in-person event will be subject to additional event-specific terms and liability waivers provided to attendees at that time.
Live workshops may be recorded, and recordings may be made available to other Participants as part of the Services. By attending a live workshop, you consent to being recorded as part of the session, except where you have used features made available by StartHub to opt out of audio/video participation.
10. INSTRUCTORS
Instructors who contribute courses, workshops, or other content to StartHub are independent contributors and are not employees, partners, or agents of StartHub. Instructor views, opinions, and advice reflect their own perspectives and experience, and do not necessarily reflect the views of StartHub. StartHub does not independently verify every claim made by an instructor and is not responsible for the accuracy or outcome of any instructor’s specific advice.
11. DISCLAIMERS
Educational purposes only. The Services and all Content are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in the Services constitutes legal, financial, tax, accounting, or investment advice, and no attorney-client, accountant-client, financial advisory, or other professional relationship is created between you and StartHub or any instructor by your use of the Services. You should consult a qualified, licensed professional before making legal, financial, tax, or investment decisions for your business.
No guaranteed outcomes. StartHub makes no representation or guarantee regarding any business outcome, including fundraising success, revenue, growth, or the success or failure of your startup. Your results depend on your own effort, execution, market conditions, and other factors outside StartHub’s control.
Jurisdiction-specific content. As noted in Section 1, Legal & Accounting content is developed primarily with reference to United States law and may not be applicable or accurate in other jurisdictions.
"As is" basis. THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. STARTHUB DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE SERVICES ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARTHUB AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, INSTRUCTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCT, EVEN IF STARTHUB HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARTHUB’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO STARTHUB IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StartHub and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
14. COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT
By providing your email address or phone number, whether through account registration, checkout, or otherwise interacting with the Services, you consent to receive electronic communications from StartHub, including account, transactional, and service-related messages. Where StartHub offers promotional or marketing communications, you may also receive marketing emails and, if and when StartHub introduces SMS/text marketing, marketing text messages, in each case subject to your ability to opt out as described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, Section 15 (SMS Program Terms) below. Message and data rates may apply to SMS communications where applicable, and message frequency may vary.
You acknowledge that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be provided in writing.
15. SMS PROGRAM TERMS
By opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from StartHub Academy Inc. about programs, offers, and your account. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; you’ll receive one confirmation message. Reply HELP or email support@starthub.academy for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
16. TERMINATION
StartHub may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, including a StartHub MBA account with otherwise lifetime access, if you materially violate these Terms, engage in conduct that harms StartHub, other users, or instructors, or if required to do so by law. Where reasonably practicable, StartHub will provide notice and an opportunity to cure before termination for a curable violation.
“Lifetime access” refers to access for as long as StartHub continues to operate the applicable Product or the Services generally, and is subject to your continued compliance with these Terms. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 6, 7 (as to use of previously accessed materials), 11 through 13, 15, and 17 through 22 — will survive.
17. GOVERNING LAW; DISPUTE RESOLUTION; ARBITRATION AGREEMENT; CLASS ACTION WAIVER
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Binding Arbitration
Except as set out below, you and StartHub agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its applicable rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will be conducted in Delaware or another mutually agreed location, or, where permitted by AAA rules, remotely.
Class Action Waiver
You and StartHub agree that any arbitration or proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. Neither you nor StartHub may bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.
Exceptions
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may: (a) bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies; and (b) seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of a party’s intellectual property rights.
18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable from these Terms and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented to you at the point of purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and StartHub regarding the Services, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the same subject matter.
20. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
StartHub may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date, and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as by email). Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
21. PRIVACY
Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Services is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a U.S. state with its own comprehensive privacy law (such as California), your rights with respect to your personal data — including rights available under the GDPR or CCPA — are described in that Privacy Policy, not in these Terms.
